There is a look some men/boys do. I call this look the “rape look” it is the standard up and down glance, exchanged during greetings, but with an added air of possessiveness and contempt. In one look it says: I have seen all of you, I have weighed you up, I own you. This is then followed by dissmissal or affirmation. Either a sleazy smile or a turning up of the nose. It is over in couple of seconds, but every time it destroys my defences and leaves me feeling naked and vulnerable.

Firstly I rarely use this, because whilst every straight boy with eyes will want you, it is typically the less savoury which approach first, however, desperate times etc. In a situation where I’m feeling ignored I do pull this out and it works about 95% of the time. I learnt it from a decidedly plain looking friend, she’s lovely but she isn’t stunning naturally, however if she wants to, she can leave boys the impression she is the most gorgeous goddess they have ever come across.
This technique works very well in club settings but I don’t see why it wouldn’t in any situation, from an office to the local supermarket.
